One of those assholes has a gun. That should come with higher expectations.

Depends on who you think they were serving. I’m guessing it’s the rest of the citizenry who has to deal with Hill’s reckless driving. Also, remember Hill was involved in an assault at a marina last year.
And all Hill had to do was leave his heavily tinted window rolled down. Basically we had a meeting of the assholes here.
On one hand I think if he left the window down when they asked him initially the whole thing would’ve gone different. On the other hand they went full on crazy as shit when he didn’t listen. As a cop though when someone has tints and they start rolling the window up you have no idea what they are going to pull.
I watched the video of the stop. The cops definitely overreacted, because ACAB, but also Hills was definitely acting like an asshole about the whole thing. He definitely made aa wrong move when he rolled up his window and refused to roll it back down again or get out of the car when asked. Cops could not see well…
The first new car I bought was a 1995 Geo Tracker, and I loved it! I drove it for years, and mu oldest kid learned to drive on it. It was dang near bulletproof! When we finally got rid of it, it still had its original clutch and rear brakes.
Pretty sure on manuals its ok.
On the positive side, his AR-15-style rifle and 1000 bullets of ammunition had not arrived yet that day... Or maybe it is easier to buy that legally in Kentucky than in the NYC area...
Oh, they’ll find him. His registration is likely in the truck, along with anything with is name and address. For all we know, they may already have him in custody.
This is all too probable.
Makes sense. On video, left his truck behind and the police are “looking” for him? Next statement will be that they “couldn’t definitively identify him in the video” and there will be no charges.
That was my guess. Guy even looks like a cop.
Big pickup truck from NJ in Brooklyn. Disproportinately violent response.
I would tack on that the C8 is such a departure from the “traditional” Corvette, a lot of the traditional customer base that isn’t interested in them. There’s gotta just be less demand for them secondhand in general.
Two things happening here. First is that the C8 was artificially blocked from depreciating due to supply chain constraints. It probably would have been similar-ish to the C7 in absence of that.
Cool, sure. But not actually a Corvette.
What does this have to do with first class? The same shit happens in economy all the time. The overwhelming majority of people on planes are just... people. Doesn’t matter what seat they sit in. Assholes will always be assholes, regardless of how much money they have or don’t have.
Need to take a poll.
Speed limit through that area is 55 mph
What is the speed limit on I-95 there? I think it’s 70. If so, not speeding. But apparently still drunk.
