In the world of VWs, they’ll probably get their price. It’s rare, yet parts are readily available. Would I buy it? No. But someone will.

Given that most airports aren’t set up for supersonic aircraft operations, modifying a 777 or something similar would seem to make a whole lot more sense.
I got to check one out at the local auto show (they’re built less than 50 miles away). I like the upgraded interior, but didn’t like the higher hood and the option of only 4 doors and a short bed. However, they’ll probably sell well.

I agree, completely, plus, they’re already designed to carry a signifcant amount of extra battery weight.

The vast majority of long-distance rail runs on diesel. Electrified rail is only common around urban areas, here in the USA.

A better headline would be “Norwegian Ferry Company Refuses to Transport EVs and Hybrids Due to Fire Concerns” since “Norwegian Cruise Line” is a large company that transports people (on vacation cruises), not vehicles.
