I fail to understand why someone would buy a vehicle, like this one, and only average 80 miles per week, driving it, especially in/around Los Angeles.

Being a big guy, if I don’t fit, it’s a hard “no”. In most cases, it’s usually the sunroof that kills the headroom.  And, no, I don’t want to recline the seat 45° just to fit.

My first new car was one of these. Graduation gift from parents that couldn’t cost more than $3,500 and had to be “American” (the other two options were a Vega or a Pinto). The best thing about it were the 5 mph bumpers, everything else was either cheap or forgettable. ND at this price, half as much would be more like

Highways don’t cause food deserts, poverty does. Retailers focus on areas and neighborhoods where they expect to be profitable, period.  IF there’s money to be made, another gas station, mini-mart, pawn shop, liquor store, payday loan place, brewpub, coffee shop, organic grocery, yoga studio, doggie daycare, or auto

. . . and, it’s gone . . . NP, for someone!

Assuming the steering wheel comes with volume controls, the knob location on the main screen becomes less of an issue and works better for the passenger.

The title to your home is, most likely, electronic . . .

If it’s “period correct” it won’t have a “stereo” . . .

Sharing is difficult because many people want to use the car during prime time (for commuting, to grab lunch) but few want to use it in the middle of the night.

Government stepping in to minimize/eliminate profits rarely works out well. See the growing fiasco that is homeowners insurance in Florida.

Forward visibility/blind spots? Seat comfort, both front & rear? How intrusive/frustrating are the safety nannies (lane keeping, etc.)? The ride, with the low-profile tires? How does the AWD do in the snow?  And, which is the better value, straight hybrid or Prime/PHEV?

The best way to “fix” the Gladiator would be less cab and more bed.  Make it more Scrambler and less RAM 1500 crew cab.  An extended/King Cab would be fine, but the full backseat just makes it too awkward.

Total numbers lack context, especially since countries with large populations (India, China, etc.) are mysteriously missing from your chart!  The term would be “cherry picking” in order to “prove” a predetermined position.

6 or 10 or 15 mph over the limit is not “reckless driving”, it’s speeding. Reckless/dangerous driving can even happen if you’re going slower that the posted limit, if it’s snowing, if you’re texting, or if you’re wasted. Yes, 40 or 50 mph is reckless, but don’t conflate the two. Excessive consequences for 5 or 10 mph

Why rebuild the engine, then sell?! Especially at that mileage?

Range anxiety is a big, if not bigger, issue with EVs in the heartland (which is marked by broad swaths of sparsely-populated rural areas). Between longer travel distances, in general, and diminished range in cold weather, they’re just not as practical as when they’re used primarily in denser urban areas and/or the

Third Gear - the counterpoint is that less demand for service means that it should be easier to attract and retain more and better-qualified techs for the fewer positions being required. All service operations, not just dealerships, are (going to be?) facing (and balancing) the whole supply and demand part, with both

One of the missing tools appears to be the jack . . .

Base versions of pickup trucks, both full-size and mid-size.

It’s a nice survivor, in apparently good condition. The price is too high, but “the answer is always ‘no’, until you ask”. That leaves room for negotiation, but at its current asking price, it’s a ND, for me.
