Used to, not anymore . . .

CJ-7 or Wrangler Unlimited frame underneath?

Intriguing, but ultimately CP, with the body kit. For the same money, you could get two old Miatas, for fun, or a non-abused 914, as an “investment”/ classic.

Actually makes sense, since most gas stations make more profit from the minimart than from the fuel pumps.

If a) it’s a judgement call (and “patina” / “body damage” is), and b) there’s an easy solution, it becomes a pissing match. It’s not like he doesn’t have a garage, and nowhere else to park the truck on his property, he just doesn’t like being told what he can and cannot do. And I get that part of it - I don’t like

To start, I’m no fan of HOA’s (been there, done that, moved on). That said, this is a pissing match, not a true “problem”. He has a two-car garage, with two other cars in it. Put the truck in the garage, and a non-patina car in the driveway - “problem” solved! But nooooo! “I’m right, by God, and I’m going to prove

Bring back the Road Runner moniker . . . meep, meep!

I doubt that Uber exposure helps retail sales.  How many people, 10 or 20 years ago, thought that a Crown Vic or an Impala would be a good place to start looking for a new car?

Nicely maintained survivor - NP. That said, I’m no fan of the oversize aftermarket gas tank / Pinto barbeque special, even with the trailer hitch.

Wheelbase and width say it’s a mule for a future SL class replacement. It’s kind like how Chevrolet hacked up a Suburban to create a mule for the Astro van. It looks mostly “normal”, until you look at the details!

It’s an unfortunate decision, and one that will be followed by the full force of the Law of Unintended Consequences . . . “If we can’t control free parking, using chalk, we’ll just have to install metered parking and/or license plate scanners!”

Gotta disagree - trading knobs for touch-screen control of the HVAC system is NOT a “massive improvement”!

I’m pretty sure that all of the White Castles around St Louis are corporately owned AND west of the Mississippi River!

Why not just throw it into 4-Low for the parade?!

Did you get to try the hybrid version? Prius-V mpg meets 4Runner styling seems like it might have some possibilities.

No AWD on the C-HR . . .

I had a Tacoma with a plastic bed - it worked fine and never dented or rusted. But it was also slippery, so I ended up needing a rubber bed mat, just to keep stuff from sliding around, every time I moved.  I suspect that that will be an unintended issue with this bed, as well.
