I really think they chopped up the sub frame or something or took the body and put it on a lengthened VW pan.. Or else the used the front end off of the VW and put it under the rolls. It has 4 lug wheels in the picture and I’m pretty sure the rolls had 5 lug. I’m right. Or I’m full of crap. Or both.

Yes unless you take the long way around by going east.  

My first thought while reading was to change “(but gradually improving)” to (very soon to be improving)
