My grandmother can’t drive anymore, but has a still working K-Car in her driveway. This is that car’s destiny, and I want to go.

I have this same set, along with the circular saw. They all work great, no extension cord to mess around with, and the batteries hold their charge so its always ready to go.

They have the Corolla iM, although its not AWD and still dull.
I love mad swaps, but I wish Toyota made a fast Rav still. I know so many people who just buy Ravs and Corollas because they’re the “default” car, and don’t bother looking at anything else really. At least if you could do mad snow drifts there would be potential for happiness.
I imagine that this wouldn’t be a thing with private self-driving car owners, but I can see agencies making a deal with fleet owners of autonomous cars. A company like Uber or anyone who is just a taxi service where they have a fleet of self driving cars for hire constantly would absolutely cut a deal where an agency…
70's Celica, Audi Quatro, Audi 5000, Porsche 924
It does work well, my parents upgraded from an ‘11 to a ‘16 exclusively for eyesight and they love it.
It’s not the CVT that’s the issue for the tow rating. The Forester/Outback/Legacy all have the same engine/transmission combo. The Outback can tow more than the Forester, and the Legacy is not rated at all. In Canada you can get manuals on all of them and it doesn’t change the towing capacity either. Even outbacks…
I have the same generation Outback, it’s great and way more practical. I still want a Baja in yellow. I want to get one and turn it into a battle-yute.
Couldn’t agree more. My wife and I don’t want kids, we just need a back seat for the dog. I daily an NC Miata because its fun, cheap to buy, cheap to own, and hassle free. We’re looking for a new car for her, and we’re looking at Golfs, Imprezas, and similar. We could afford something bigger but there’s no reason for…
The Miata basically has no real competitors, and is a great affordable car. The 370z is fat and lazy with stiff competition. Similar with the STI, their was no AWD hot compacts for a long time to compete with it, but now they have the Golf-R and the Focus RS. I expect Subaru to pull out all the stops on the next…
V60 Polestar is what I would be going for. Sure it’s a bit slower, but it’s far more interesting, practical, and less silly looking.
I guess if you bought an old house you would want the old electrical system, or heating than came with it, rather than modern, safe, efficient and reliable system. People want the style but not the crap that goes along with it. Sure there’s something to be said for having a mint show quality all original car, but I…
In Canada we use Moose to measure our trunks. This is a 0.5 moose trunk at best.
Not having any nostalgia for old American cars makes this a hard sell for me, but it does look in good shape and is pretty nice looking. The price seems solid if it all checks out, but I don’t know what I would do with it, and there’s other useless cars I’d rather have for $6000. CP.
I believe the correct answer here is a Mazda CX-9, its big and practical, will haul all your baby-garbage but its still fun to drive.
I don’t like the way old 911s look, and I still don’t like the way new 911s look.
It’s almost there. $3700 seems like a lot for a not very interesting 86 (when it was new) horsepower FWD Automatic from the 80s. Sure it’s in great shape and looks great, but I could get something far more interesting for that price. If any one factor was better I would bite, but it’s a little too much going against…
Honestly thought it was Jason Bateman from the picture.
There is nothing wrong with the 86, it’s fine. It has its own thing going, but that doesn’t attract a lot of customers. The biggest competition for it is obviously the Mustang, which yes is fat, but is the same price, more practical and puts up bigger numbers. A lot of people also forget about the GTI when talking…
