It’s only a weekend toy if you’re not trying hard enough. I dallied an NC hard top for 2 years, in Canada. I had to sell it for various reasons a few years ago, but now I’m looking to get another one.

I had a 2005 Mazda 3 which I sold to my uncle, and my brother still has his 2008 Mazda 3. We both live in Canada where the roads are caked in salt 6 months of the year, and honestly never took care of them. Mine got dinged in a parking lot the 2nd year I had it, so its had bare metal on one of the rust prone quarter

Clearly the correct answer is an old Celica liftback.

Being in my 20s, my first car was my oldest, but is not that impressive. My grandfathers ‘94 Taurus wagon, beige on beige. 1 power lock didn’t work, and 1.5 windows didn’t either. I can’t wait to get that number down with an NA Miata one day.

It bugs me that the Caterpillar has power listed in kW and the range is listed in miles. Why mix metric and imperial?

Having never cut down a tree, I’m shocked at how easily it cut through that truck. An old Accord maybe, but trucks have a frame and are meant to haul things.

As far as boy racer cars go, it looks great, but I think the double rear spoiler and all the 2 tone paint goes a bit too far for me. Get rid of that huge wing and make it more one colour and I’m in!

You made good choices. Learning stick on that Mazda 3 was great, although you should have gone for the hatch.

I love that XC60. It’s one step closer to a new V60, or maybe one day the C30 again.

How does the technology package compare with Eye-sight?

That’s because you’re drinking crap like Beefeater. Get something nice like Bombay or better and you’ll be happy.

I was a kid when they came out, and someone owned one in my town. I saw that car all the time, and thought nothing of it other than they were just cool looking cars. I just realized 2 years ago just how rare they actually were, and that they weren’t everywhere but that was actually the same car every time.

I had a NC Miata power hard top. I drove it every day April-October for several years, top down as long as it wasn’t raining. I miss that car. I need another convertible in my life, but I am worried about having a soft top for durability and security in a daily driver. The NC hard top is my favorite Miata, but I want

I love my 2008 3.0R Outback, it doesn’t care about snow or anything. Too bad the mileage is horrible, and my 90km daily commute is killing me. I don’t really need the size anymore so maybe I’ll get a new Impreza, or a Hawkeye and Miata.

Subaru with Eye-sight.

First car I owned was a 2005 Mazda 3, manual. Great car, very fun and reliable. Get 1st gen with a stick and the 2.5 and you’ll have fun for years.

A new long, cold and snowy commute means my old H6 Outback is getting pricey to drive. New Imprezas come with Eye-sight, heated steering wheel, and solid fuel economy means I’m seriously considering one.

Of all the movie sequels to go with as bad you chose 22 Jump Street? The comedy sequel that was better than the original? For shame.

It’s slightly better than the legacy for off roading. It comes with their X-mode to adapt to other terrains, I wouldn’t say its rugged, but they don’t get stuck in the snow or on a beach. Outbacks are exactly the level of off road I need, able to tow small toys around through snow and sand without getting bogged down.

I typically prefer to look of sedans, but I can’t not buy practically. As someone who has to tow snowmobiles on un-plowed roads I need AWD, and towing capacity, and some ground clearance. I would love to buy a Legacy, but to tow I need shell out the extra (and almost all profit to Subaru) $5000 for an Outback.
