Hey it's okay to disagree on this but do you really have to be that mean about it?

Support main here, can’t confirm. Only role I enjoy.
How to tell me you haven’t played Overwatch 2 without actually saying you haven’t played Overwatch 2.
Mystery Heroes solves all problems. Join us and rally for 6v6 MH back in Overwatch 2.
Just crossed 700 hours last weekend. 650 of them on support. The enjoyment I get from Overwatch comes from loving the quick thinking, the evaluation, the trades, the numbers. Strategy at 100mph. I like putting my team’s needs in front of my own. I like the teamwork execution feeling.
They didn’t axe Overwatch 1. They patched it and call it Overwatch 2 now.
Then this is even less controversial than people are making it out to be.
$40 is still less than $60 (or $70 as is becoming more common.) So this seems like a decent balance between new players (who should go through this) and returning players (who know they like Overwatch already and know how to play) can pay the money.
Meanwhile the rest of the current player base is actually thankful for these changes which will:
This isn’t free to play grind bullshit as much as it is, “we want you to learn this game and its mechanics before jumping into games with other people who very much know what they’re doing”
Magnus just obliterated the entire field one after another in a separate tournament and still currently possesses the highest rating ever recorded by any player in all of chess history that is not named Magnus Carlsen. So no, not exactly losing his edge.
i agree that magnus is not handling the situation correctly, and the criticism of those actions is valid. it’s the way people use it to characterize him as someone who’s “just being a baby,” “just a sore loser,” or “throwing a hissy fit” that i find unreasonable. it seems to me that he is clearly motivated by a…
It’s incredible to me that they said for so long they can’t stop providing service because that would be political, then eventually decide things got a little too political and so stopped providing the service.
We can only really judge people by their actions and not their thoughts.
I mean this honestly: I’m glad you’ve sought therapy and found it helpful. I’ve done myself (for different reasons from you, I think), and it is good and helpful. Now, more to the point, I’ve read most of your posts in this thread and it seems like you’re seeking the wrong things. You’ve talked about what it means to…
I did actually. Therapy helped me to get to this place. If you can believe it, there was a time when my confidence was so low that I would have agreed with every insult thrown my way here. Would have agreed whole-heartedly and not said a word. Finances became a thing. So, I stopped for right now until I can find a…
I mean you don’t know me other than the MassofContradictions guy on the other end of this computer, so I’ll forgive you your worst assumptions of me. Fear is not antagonism. (Damned Kinja not supporting Grammarly, so I have to do this shit all the fuck by myself). Lack of self-confidence is not antagonism.
I mean, wow. I figured someone would do this. But I didn’t expect it to be precisely this brutal. Brave of you to just read that first part, missing the entire thrust of what I was actually saying, just to rip me for saying I haven’t been on a date in 21 years. I haven’t been on a date, by the way, not because i’m the…
No one needs an instruction manual on masculinity. What Peterson and Tate offer are baroque justifications and self-deluding excuses for the insecure to indulge their worst impulses. They offer power fantasies, in other words, just like Captain America and Batman are power fantasies. They feel good, but they aren’t…
I’m a guy, a guy who had (and still has) staggeringly low self-confidence to the point of needing therapy to make myself not think i’m the worst person to ever draw breath and an unattractive bridge troll destined to die alone, and Jordan Peterson helped me (even just a little bit) get there. You need what you need,…
