I have yet to drive an automatic car with paddle or tiptronic-type shifters that I ever cared to use. I can think of a few occasions of hill driving where I wanted the car to hold a gear where the feature was useful. Regular automatics offer this, but I can’t imagine what the shifter would look like with nine gears.…

You are correct in that people like this exist, but not that a large portion of the nation likes him. Whenever you see a poll showing that Trump enjoys 80, 90 or more percent support from Republicans, that’s a poll of people who have declared party affiliation. Last I checked, that’s about 27%.

Nope. Did that just last week. Someone had an older Mitsubishi Evo and they’d hopped a curb. Took out a big chunk of sidewall and dinged the wheel pretty good. I left a note on the driver’s side mirror basically saying that’s a dangerous condition. He’s been rolling on his donut spare.
