Nice! If you want to keep it local, you can use Plex, Kodi or the My Media skill on an Echo to point at mp3s on your own server.

Dropbox is no less secure than others IMO. Just be sure to turn on 2FA (also available for iCloud). If it’s critical, encrypt it, or don’t store it in any cloud.
