IIRC, modern fuel hoses are designed to detach like this, because people are idiots

I'd like to think the driver has had enough of light runners and was like, "OH YEAH MOTHERFUCKER?"

“Opioid Belt” - Nice one.

It’s getting harder to find good LeSabres and other W-body cars here in the Opioid Belt. Lots of them became the go-to “under the radar” ride of pill pushers and meth runners - reliable, easy to work on, lots of room for acquaintances and contraband. A lot of them bought or “borrowed” from grandma when they heard the

Probably not, modern air brakes don’t apply the brakes when you step on the pedal, the air pressure keeps them open so when you push the pedal down, it’s releasing pressure from the system. This way, if you lose air pressure in the system, the vehicle will stop.

Regals and Lacrosses have the 3800 also. Great cars. A Regal GS with the Series II 3800 would be nice.

Plenty of people can have a drink or two or 18 and not turn into an asshole.

+1 for the “Things without CVT’s” blurb at the end.

Skip the fine and go straight to the hard time. Prosecute every instance. And mandate that in the event of misbehavior, the pilot must return to the airport of origin to disembark the passenger to the local cops there. And they name that passenger’s bad behavior and the passenger as the reason to everyone else on the

Other gears aren’t needed. Lots of Pro Street guys run 2-speed Powerglide transmissions because they’re only going a 1/4 mile and don’t want to shift as much.

Most drag cars use either a 2 or 3 speed transmission. I’m not going to pretend to know why.

I work with engineers and their department still uses whatever the ‘system’ is that measures in inches. I went to college and studied physics and department rules were basically “SI or F”. The ‘F’ stood for ‘Fail’ because that’s the grade you would get if it wasn’t in SI units.

Hilariously, only foreign washing machines would fit 6-7 in that hole, for American white goods you’re talking three, max.

So, no want.

hatch and stick or no want.

Looks cool, and I’m excited for it, but also another reason for me to keep my WRX hatch!

You typically don’t get to 8 lug wheels until you get to a 3/4 ton pickup truck.

Another easy entry-level DIY job are O2 sensors!

Disc brakes are a “teach-a-man-to-fish”, though. It only requires a few basic tools and there’s really not a lot to critically fuck up. Have a friend or relative who knows how to do it spot you the first time and you’re golden. Also, given the number of times I hear bare-metal-on-rotor when I wander around. . .

That

I’m currently debating if I want to pay for someone to change my pads and rotors or if I want to do it myself. I’m not a complete beginner at car work, I’ve just never done brakes before and also I seem to have a hard enough time making time/energy to work on my project car, let alone my DD (which is the car that is
