If they get more sponsors and other support though that money is generated by the players still. Maybe not directly but it’s still because whoever chose to sponsor them decided they wanted their brand associated with the team. If they’re getting an unfair slice of the pie then obviously that should be fixed. However…
Why do they deserve a subsidy though?? If they don’t make any money because they don’t generate any how is that anyone else’s weight to bear.
