After over 25 years visiting my wife’s family for 6 - 12 weeks (with 1-2 weeks travelling to different parts of the country) every year, I finally retired from teaching. Wife hasn’t retired yet, but we are seriously looking at living full time in Japan. Then this happens!

I must have missed that time when they made a new rule named after Hamilton,  and that time that Lewis went into some other driver’s garage and assaulted him.

Hamilton left Max plenty of room at Silverstone. Max is the king of wheel banging and he only complains when he gets the worst of it.

I really cringe every time I see another in the recent spate of articles about how awful someone is.

There’s a difference between not liking someone and publicly reveling in their suffering.

I liked Invasion. I live in the Everglades and it looked like it was made in my back yard. My disappointment at its cancellation, and the debacle that was Lost, convinced me to throw away my television.

My wife did everything right and got screwed! She’ll be paying off her student loans for decades to come. A good friend has been trying to immigrate legally for years. I (jokingly) told him he should just sneak in.

Ethan, did you never watch any old martial arts films? Putting a “basket over your head” actually kind of means something.

I really can’t wait for F1 TV to get their act together.

You really are loopy.

In my 20+ year experience in Japan, people are usually pretty tolerant of children, although referring to them as “gaki” (demons), is pretty common.

There isn’t even an international airport in Naruto.

“Having shit supervisors is not an excuse for doing a shit job.”

Exaggerate much? How can you compare a 7 pound box to a 2 ton automobile? That fence is nowhere near 6 feet, unless the deliveryman is 8 ft. tall.

I know. I’m really afraid to talk about the appropriation of a childhood icon who I pictured as a girl with red hair, pigtails, and freckles.

I’m getting all confused with Meg Murry and Johnny Storm, you know, the brother of Sue Reed ...

Does using the word pedant qualify you as a pedant?

I grew up in Florida. It used to be nice until all the Northern rejects moved here.

Our _experience_ of pain is psychological.

The Placebo effect is pretty powerful.
