How difficult would a 2J swap be in one of these things? I say 2j just to be a little different from the ubiquitous LS swap. For 750 it sounds like a perfect project car starting point.

Yeah I know, the thing is that I just don’t see anyone being passionate enough about the 560SEC or the Mondial to start a company a la Singer just for those models. Thats why I think Icon would be a better fit.
I am willing to bet that if you threw enough money in ICON’s direction that they would gladly fix up any car you drove their way.
Thanks for the response. Yeah A lot of people were hoping for something lighter when the S550 was announced, unfortunately we got a heavier car. But yeah 30k is definitely a lot of money. Money being no object though, I would still take the GT350R or Base over any new Camaro.
I would first like to point out that I am extremely envious of your car, and that I in no way shape or form mean to disregard your opinion. I will also point out that I have not driven either of these cars so my opinion holds less weight than a gnats fart.
Yeah, the majority of the ones I found were in California. With regards to insurance, I think it just might be old enough to qualify for classic car insurance.
California and convertible scream Alfa Romeo Spider. Did a quick search and found a bunch of cheap examples. For 25k I would think you could get one in pretty great condition. You say you enjoy wrenching, well the Italians will keep you wrenching constantly. It looks good enough to keep for a while and I think that…
I’m not really a truck kind of guy, but I do find the arguing in the comments about how its a 6 cylinder and not a V8 and that they won’t buy it because of that, but the HD guys fawn over the inline 6 in the Ram´s. Its kind of funny how that works.
I haven’t driven an Evo, or a Subaru but I am guessing lift off oversteer on this one. He started to loose it, looks like he countered and then lost it completely. Had he stayed in it he might have pulled it off. That is just a guess though.
As a fan I can say SG1 and Atlantis were good fun to watch. Universe simply sucked donkey dong. I was initially drawn to it by the FN P90 and stayed for the stories. Universe though, that was just hard to watch.
I saw this a week or so ago on IG. Thought it was the coolest thing, just because they dared to do it.
Well there is also the whole LCS Frigate thing.
This has to be one of the best “for sale Ads” I have read in long time. Hell I am not a Volvo fan and even I wanted to buy it.
I will not argue that point lol. I wouldn’t drive any of the cars he builds. But I still get a huge kick out of watching his videos.
It has been my experience that in Best Motoring Videos the Japanese cars always end up being the fastest. The NSX Type R was a notoriously tough cookie. I remember seeing some real bad ass performance cars loose to it. I always thought it was BS though. There is no way heavier cars with less HP are going to beat it…
Oh crap I forgot about Tom’s Turbo Garage. He did a Mazda Speed Miata V8 Swap that was impecable. You could eat of the floor boards on that car. I have never seen someone work in such a meticulous and clean fashion. He is working on a Nissan Figaro at the moment. Sorry I can’t link, I’m at work right now.
I totaly forgot about Chris from B is for Build. His hacks aren’t always 100% roadworthy (E46 that was sketchy as hell). But I totally dig that he jumps right in and goes for it and learns along the way.
This one will probably have been said half a dozen times already but Eric The Car Guy or ETCG. He usually works on Hondas but there is a lot of useful content. Tiger Garage if you are own a Porsche and a couple of others I am sure I’m forgetting.
This is a pretty good explanation of what happens to your brain when you get a concusion. Sure the outside looks fine but the inside, well that is a different story.
I agree, we are the ones that are to blame. I just can’t help feeling that the world that Wall-E roamed around in is not too far off. 3D printing is definitely a world changer for all involved, and for whomever can afford it, we just need to perfect the quality of the materials that we can print. Powdered metal and…
