Still love the season, but it definitely feels like there’s scenes missing, like Carmen going on her first date, Melrose becoming cool with paying for a sex worker, Tammé’s new role as “manager”, etc. In a way, it makes the 6 month time jump a little lazy since it quickly glosses over problems that were introduced in

If it’s there, Bob Ballard will find it. He found Titanic, Bismarck, Yorktown, and PT109. He’s very good at this...

When you hit 30, pop culture begins to mean less and less to you. You find yourself gravitating more and more to the music and things that you enjoyed from high school through your 20s. When you hit 30, you find that you slowly pay less and less attention to whatever the hot thing is. And that increases as you make

Some of us are much older and hate you (and ourselves) for it. Nothing personal.

Soft serve is just ice cream that’s constantly churning so that it doesn’t set and that’s frozen and served at a higher temp than regular ice cream. It may or may not have lower milk fat that regular ice cream, but really temperature and the amount of air (since the longer ice cream churns the less dense it is) are

I think King has said that Darabont’s ending is better. It’s also arguably more hopeful than King’s!

Office Space? Galaxy Quest? Dogma? Detroit Rock City? South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut? Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me? The Green Mile?

$2.50 for a chicken soft taco at TB feels like highest robbery these days. I still remember .59/.79/.99 days!

You mean like friggitello?  I’ve only ever done your standard salt and pepper, but it’s a good idea.

Can we get a 2 hour cut? Damn this movie was long. If it was 2 hours flat it would have been much better.

One. Why in the world would parents bring kids to a rated-R film? It’s kind of selfish to bring them to a film that they won’t enjoy or it’s naive (bordering on stupid) believe that this is what they want to see or can handle.

Never been there, but if being threatened with death is what it takes for people to put their phone down for 2 hours, then I support it.

One of my fave little details about Moonstruck is how they accurately play with Brooklyn geography - Cher’s family home is supposed to be in Brooklyn Heights, which in the 80's was upper-middle class Italian, whereas Ronny and the bakery are in Carroll Gardens which was more working-middle class Italian.

This movie also introduced egg-in-a-holes to my life, and I am forever grateful.

Going high when they go low is how we got here. Sorry I am all out of fucks to give. When they go low go for their entrails. The end

This is the kind of reporting I expect to see.

Vera said that?

Dear Carded,
