I liked the theme song a lot

I’m hoping they’re going to take Ptonomy in an interesting direction now and I think the show has been good enough for long enough to give it the benefit of the doubt that this is going somewhere and has a purpose.

There was also the dire The Cleveland Show. Family Guy itself later admittedly had the best burn about that series’ lack of appeal, “who was that show for, a black guy who had never met another black guy?”

I don’t know what Sienkiewicz is up to these days, but I wish he had time to draw us some more comics. I subscribed to The New Mutants comic by mail right before he took over art duties, and OMG did that blow my 11-year-old mind. Thanks for sharing the promo art! Gorgeous and cheeky, as usual. :)

So what’s the deal with the old shushing lady? Syd saw her in her “insanity” dream and the Ptonomy sees her when he’s uploaded to the mainframe.

I discovered this last week and just wanted to share it because it’s really cool and I don’t remember seeing it covered here, a Season 2 promo drawn by Legion’s co-creator Bill Sienkiewicz in the style of the Egon Schiele self-portrait featured prominently a few episodes back.

“Ostensibly On Legion...”

“When two tribes go to war, a point is all you can score.”

Everyone saying yanny is a troll and I don’t know when you got together and decided to fuck with me like this but it is extremely rude.

I love Legion so much but it’s definitely a show that you have to watch from the beginning. Even more than most of today’s serialized shows, you will be hopelessly lost if you just drop in for a random episode. So, it’s not really that surprising that it’s not picking up new viewers as existing ones wander off. And

Legion is great and it’s super fucking weird — of course it will get canceled.

The Expanse and Legion in no way deserve to be on this list, but I also completely understand why both are (they would DESTROY on a streaming service, though).

looks modeled after an old Motorola Advisor Elite.

We don’t deserve something as amazing as Legion. If it ends now honestly I won’t be sad because it’s a miracle we got it in the first place.

Whine-1-1, what’s your emergency?

And don’t forget: Danny the Street was based on the crossdresser Danny LaRue (get it? “le rue” = “the street”). And they then became Danny the World.

Let’s hope it lasts longer than the average Doom Patrol comic reboot at DC.

Before you ask how weird Doom Patrol is, please consider the following character:

I used to make a lot of jokes about her back when she had her “episode.” But her actions after that, along with having to deal with the bipolar disorder of someone close to me, made me feel pretty ashamed of myself for that.
