Earlier this year, I *finally* beat Dark Souls after trying for nearly a DECADE. I’m now one of those smug assholes who thinks, “It’s certainly HARD, but not THAT hard.”

Back in July, I showed my 13 year-old a few videos of people playing Dark Souls and so he picked it up and BURNED through the game and beat it by the end of August...

It’s my favorite NES game and I’d *love* a remake or sequel.

Dammit, I had juuuuuuuuuuust forgot about Miracleman.

I had a friend who shared the post on Instagram and it had QANON in the caption so I had to break the news to them.

...

I don’t want to be their friend any more.

Thanks AV Club! I was really hoping to catch them on the tour was sad to be missing it! <3

British band Spectres recorded a track named “Spectre” that a couple of media outlets accidentally reported as the official theme (and it is much better than the Sam Smith track).

But yeah Radiohead would have been at the least interesting and certainly better than the Smith one.

My son and I were both pointing out all the Gonks that were around the opening level.

Are you kidding? He’s...

I’m on the last level of Celeste, so I’m hoping to knock that out this weekend... but the boss fights are so brutal I may not do it until next week. But I’ll certainly go berry picking on the earlier levels, at the least.

Well his driver’s license says...

Well that’s the photoshopped version.

Sparkle sparkle sparkle!

Never watched 90210, but absolutely adored him when he popped up on Clone High (and my wife used that love to get me to watch Riverdale, too).

The NES adaptation already exists AND it isn’t by LJN!

User Name + Profile Pic synergy. Love it.

We can finally get that sequel to Star Wars: Yoda Stories that we’ve all been waiting for.

When I read the line this weekend, I assumed rock candy and was wrong.

My name’s James and hearing the various characters call my name (including my in-game wife) in Silent Hill 2 was probably my favorite. Much better than James and the Giant Peach, at least.
