Pretty big difference between $100 and $500. I have wanted a tablet, but not enough to justify spending $500 on one. I have most of the things I want on my phone. The tablet will just be great for watching videos, web browsing, and other little stuff like that. To me, that is worth $100, but not worth $500.

Don't do the $15 special. Do this one instead to save $30: SAVE30HP. You need to add an item to get it over $150, but you can add paper for like $6. I added a case I will definitely like for $35. Came out to $166 with the case and tablet with tax and free shipping! I'm psyched.

Just bought my 32GB version from HP with the case/stand that was only $35. HP has a great coupon code, SAVE30HP, that gets you $30 off if you spend at least $150. So if you just want the 32GB Touchpad, just add something really cheap like a ream of paper, and you can save $30!

I agree. I respect what the ACLU does, even when they defend people like Fred Phelps. However, as disgusting he is, like the ACLU, I will continue to support his legal right to do what he does, even if it is morally repugnant. I appreciate that the ACLU doesn't pick sides other than protecting civil liberties,

Pretty easy distinction, at least as far as Psychologists are concerned. You are an alcoholic when you are addicted to alcohol. We probably don't know if she is or not. It definitely sounds like she abuses alcohol, but that does not make you an alcoholic. Those are two different things.

We're not talking about internet here. This is about cable television service. I still have Comcast for internet :( Unfortunately Verizon does not yet have FIOS in my area so they max out at a very sad 6 Mbps.

HOAs may help with cable, but I'll deal with higher cable prices to avoid this:

"(And besides, satellite service is terrible. Who doesn't want to watch TV when it's overcast outside?)"

Not her best game, but hardly the reason they lost IMO. Even when it came to the penalty kicks, she held her own. Not often you will see the first 3 kickers miss the net entirely.

Good thing Brazil is on the case protecting the the straights from the privileged gays!

One of the biggest problems in our political system is that due to the way primaries work, nobody will ever get elected without towing the party line on EVERY major issue, regardless of how they really feel. You can't be pro universal health care, or pro choice, or pro increasing taxes on the rich and have a single

I think her point is that he was a decent guy, before the crazies took over the Republican Party. Now it turns out he is just a standard politician, and will take whatever position will get him elected (ie universal healthcare is good to be governor of Mass, or universal healthcare is socialism to be Republican

Absolutely nothing. However, I would posit from the comments I dug up on the internet looking for this paper that the majority of people who I am referring to will see this as an example of this.

Um, this happens all the time. Nothing to see here.

This kind of story is pretty horrible. It really doesn't help women either. Stories like this just fuel the people who believe feminists hate men and don't care about them. I did a research paper for my women's studies class and found a ton of pretty horrible statistics about people who see feminism as so awful (I

Just a slight correction from someone who once lived in Kansas for a couple years: they fought on the side of the North in the Civil War, ie not defending state's rights in that war. Trust me, my wife from Kansas always reminds me and others that Kansas was a Northern state. The state's rights thing then is newer in

I don't understand why she isn't suing the motel? Color me confused.

I had a close friend who did this exact same thing. He owned an insane amount of clothes, so he didn't re-wear stuff, but he would drive home every 1-2 months with at least 3 giant bags of laundry for his mother to wash. I couldn't believe she did this for him all the time. Only when he started dating a girl who

I know two different teachers at two different special education schools and this happens at neither. You better come up with a lot more funding for these schools from somewhere to pay all these escorts and guards.

Or, even short of that, they could have at least not make the most insensitive press release / letter to parents ever!
