I didn’t react that way because I don’t think chess is a big deal, I reacted like that because how the fuck are trans people a threat to chess?

@ligaments. I know you're a troll and a deeply stupid person. But this take is so laughable I can't even laugh at it. Marganilized people have been wanting to tell the own stories forever, but since they aren't the one who are heading studios, they don't decide what get's made and not made. I swear you trolls are so…
I understand your reaction, but chess is a big deal in a lot of countries. Players are celebrities. Prize purses are collectively in the millions. It’s not a huge deal in the US, but these decisions can have a massive ripple effect around the world.
It’s fucking chess.
Why is this woman a “Karen” that the Root is following? As far as I’m aware, she didn’t have any racially based weaponization episodes, which is the entire point of the Miss Anne, aka the Karen. Any woman who has a viral mental health episode isn’t a Karen.
Oh, wow, how brilliant. Because nobody on the “far left” has ever given thought to such important issues as “how to pay public employees”. So much nuance.
This stunt did exactly the same amount of good as “raising awareness” for anything ever has.
ACAB
The Discourse(TM) is everywhere on this thing, so I’ll only add this: crossover country is the Velveeta of music.
the least surprising aspect of all of this is that Chet Hanks would buy into the hype surrounding a movie rooted in a far-right conspiracy theory
Likely an unpopular opinion here, especially for actual The Witcher fans, but the show probably would have worked better as more of a “monster of the week” serial in the vein of The X-Files. Sure, there was an overarching story there, but it served as connective world building, not the muddily presented driver.
The specifics of the situations in the lawsuit will totally overwhelm any attempt to look at this objectively for most people.
Except that “guns don’t kill people” arguments are used to prevent any restriction on guns. Limiting the terms of copyright protections (as I argue for) is explicitly a restriction on copyrights.
H ha ha. I'm no don lemon fan, he has his issues, but God damn are you a far right fucking cunt.
lmao come on, you cut out the best part of the quote! she denounced matty healy’s “microagressions,” which is one of the funniest words you can use before launching into your korn ripoff!
Because you never know when you might have to drop everything and darn a sock.
Are you smuggling a pair of thimbles or are you just happy to see me?
Sure - by making the only pockets in women’s clothes (a) too small to hold anything useful, and (b) located somewhere that gets pressed against from the inside so that anything in them would dig uncomfortably into flesh, the fashion industry hopes to discourage women from asking for some useful goddamn pockets please.
Boob Pockets.
You had me at “Salma Hayek”.
