Other than the annoyance of running from Pokemon only to immediately be put back into a battle with a Pokemon standing where you were (which is obviously something they could fix) I’m not sure why you would want to go back

Actual game developers have already weighed in on this

I’ve seen “Anne was cursed by Rookwood” written down a couple of times now, and maybe it’s just me, but it has a certain “Zendaya is Meechee” cadence to it. Wonder if it could become a meme in time.

The people who worked on the game have already been paid. They did their work and were compensated. The people who are going to benefit from sales now are executives and shareholders, and I’m not going to lose sleep over them missing out on profits any more than the central billionaire.
