TBH, neither. Pizza delivery is a convenience, not altruism.

Volume. A UPS driver or a mail man has a route and delivers dozens of packages per trip. A food delivery driver generally delivers one order per trip. Sometimes more, but not nearly enough to be comparable to a package delivery driver.

A neat car, but they were so unloved in their day that there is no parts support, meaning the dumbest broken part will effectively total the car. The rear fiberglass monospring? Totaled. The door handles? Totaled. My nephew had a regular 3.1 coupe a few years ago and it was those types of things that took it off the

Yeah. Good luck finding one of those outer door handles when one inevitably breaks. You might as well total the car now.

Huh?

You only have to leave part of your wallet in El Segundo to get this. If it is not a scam, Nice Price. Fly into LAX and drive it home, wherever home may be.

Glove box door. It just seems inane to the extreme.

My mom likes her Renegade, and it has been reliable since we got her in it in 2015. That is all that matters to me.

It’s the holiday season...

I’ve decided that it is not worth my time and energy to have an opinion about the Cybertruck, as I’m likely never to be in the market for one. I am here about the sales practices though. If I’m doing the math right, it’s essentially a $20k markup to get to the front of the line for a launch edition of the Cybertruck,

I’m over the burger snobbery. In-N-Out is what it is, and it is damn good at what it is, for what it is. It bums me out that my travel itinerary this year hasn’t taken me anywhere with an In-N-Out location, because 2022 saw me enjoying their wares not one, not twice, but thrice.

One of the few BMWs I’d actually want to own, but I don’t see the value at this price. No Deal.

Early on in the pandemic, my wife’s German-based (non-automotive) company held an all-hands meeting where they announced - to all sorts of fanfare - that going forward, being in an office should not be considered your default work situation. They went on and explained that this was not COVID related, and that they had

We followed the instructions from Matthew’s Volvo Site, and went out and in from the top. Took a little manhandling, but with a tilt mechanism we were able to angle it in.

This is giving me flashbacks to replacing the N/A motor in my nephew’s 850 wagon last year. It too way too long, and I wrecked my back in the process, but dang if it didn’t fire up at the first twist of the key. Wasn’t expecting that.

People who stop in traffic circles to let cars in, or people to stop to let you turn in front of them when there is no one behind them. I even had someone last week stop to let me out of my driveway. No cars behind her; she just stopped anyway.

That said, there’s a difference between tackling something that’s hard and going out of one’s way to make that thing harder than it needs to be.

And of course presented in longest to shortest order, as not to build up any unnecessary anticipation...

2006 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab I owned for a few months in 2009. This one. The one in this picture. The only picture I have of this vehicle. A vehicle so utter forgettable that I forgot I owned it for a year when it popped on on my Facebook feed on the 10th anniversary of me posting the picture right after I bought it. It

...after his Carvana vehicle was repossessed a year after he bought it.
