I ended up getting an Estee Lauder foundation and their corresponding concealer. I really like the foundation —-and am so impressed the woman assisting me matched me so well so quickly as a cool complected pale-to-dark olive person that is hard— but im going to have to report back on the concealer.

It’s the worst when your own reflection sneaks up on you. I hate it. That happened basically all last month, starting late September. Its like I aged 50 years in two months.

Man, some people... this is the only fun thing I get to read all week long and I am grateful for the ease with which I can find it.

I really like Nars’ lipsticks; theyre creamy and soft without too much slip. I am especially fond of their satin-finish pencil “palais royale” which is a pretty sangria color.

I haven’t tried The Balm’s mascara, but I have liked their powders and blushers.
