Also: if you can, get a dog. They are wonderous. Theyre work, but worth it because you get ALL THE CUDDLES and a heads up when someone is lurking in your hallway.

Been there and done that. I moved, and changed my number. It may have seemed excessive, but it saved me a lot of stress.

I was thinking about nursing. I used to work in pharma, which was horrible. I hated it. I hated EVERY second of being there. I am not sure I want to go back to school because of the pricetag, not because Im not sure I’d enjoy the work. It would be a good fit for me, I think. I just dont know what to do right now.

We’re moving. Im so sad. I dont want to leave. I am not sure what I am going to do afterward. The last few years I have spent on a boat, as a tour guide/mariner/boatbum and its been so much fun. I played lock in college. It was the most fun I’ve had on a team, ever. I would love that, but where I live, very few people have insurance—- or time for sports. Most of us work two or more jobs down here (in the Florida Keys) just to keep a roof overhead. Maybe in my next location.

Went to see a rugby match today and it made me miss playing so much. I wish we had a women’s side down here so I could play, too. I miss the camaraderie.

Depends on if I have to work the night shift or not. I live in an area of the US where daydrinking and being hammered on a Wednesday night is totally normal.
