A close friend of mine is named Courtney. He has always gone by Courtland and I'm sure it's because it's hard to grow up in a tough neighborhood with a stereotypically girl's name.

Fresh off the Boat was truly heartwarming and hysterical. I am an ESL teacher and I could see a few of my students in Eddie Huang. They are in a constant tug of war between American culture and their family's culture. While I don't love the title of the show, I definitely loved the first two episodes.

I can't wait until one of these pictures ends up in Quinoa and Chevron's adventures.

I got whooping cough my first year teaching, despite having been vaccinated as a child. No doctor had ever mentioned boosters to me. I got booster shots but since then I have been highly susceptible to all hybrid strains of the whoop. It's brutal, lasts forever, and is so painful.

I'm a teacher in Philly. The level of abuse that occurs to some children and they are left in those homes is just astounding!!!!! Maybe when we report the neglect, physical and sexual abuse we should mention that they also walk home alone. Maybe that'll get some fucking results.

I watch for many reasons but Cookie is the number 1 reason! BTW her wardrobe is impeccably tailored. She looks banging all the time.

I had no plans to watch this show, but after watching American Idol I saw the opening scene where V. Bozeman is killlllllling that song. My husband and I decided to stick with the show and now I'm hooked. I loved Jamal and Cookie!
