I’ve watched with my husband for the last 13 years. I am a 31 year old, educated, white woman and he is a 33 year old, educated, African American man. Neither of us are middle aged white women.

They are both incredibly talented. This was the first final two in a long time where both deserved to win. I don’t think she got robbed. He amped it up at the end and she didn’t (she stayed consistently excellent). By the last few weeks of the season they were on equal footing.
