The thing that really stuck out to me in the lead image was the heavily increased contrast in shading in the 80s-90s style. Which... actually makes a lot of sense. That was before the age of high definition and flatscreen televisions, where color reproduction on the receiving end of a broadcast was far more variable.

Can’t fail the Bechdel test if you don’t have women.

Go talk to a car shop that does custom interiors. Those guys are absolute whizzes when it comes to upholstery, and they’re mechanically inclined enough to get the chair pulled apart enough to actually do the work.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment that this decision is likely backed by the need to continue generating good business prospects with China, the hypocrisy from some people here is astounding.

As a therapist, I say no. Anger is justified. It’s a valid emotion, just like the emotions this poor streamer felt.

Well, games still got sold in the US after the 2016 elections...

Some people took issue with the game’s portrayal of cops and Spider-Man’s relationship to them. Kotaku’s Heather Alexandra critiqued the game’s black and white approach to law enforcement as predominantly unimpeachable good guys and criminals as violent anarchists, but she wasn’t alone. You know, it is possible to feel bad for the employees but still be happy the season gets finished. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

I don’t want to nitpick too much, and you even address the same issue within your first sentence using parenthesis, but I don’t want any reference to ‘swatting’ to be called anything other than a crime. It’s utter nonsense that it’s even something people are doing. Using language to reduce the severity of the act
