In the end I’d rather have an imperfect ending than a cliffhanger with no resolution and no hint as to how it would have ended.
There’s some Xenogears energy in the eikon battles for sure.
Fwiw they’re also starting Phase 2 trials for Biontech’s cancer vaccine. Might be worth a gander.
I mean... if you’re going to pick three games to represent the coolest of what the PS5 can do, you can do a lot worse than including Returnal and Demon’s Souls.
Fair enough. I hope the bruise hurts.
Obviously yes. It would take decades of hard work from the police after banning all guns until the levels reach what’s considered normal in the rest of the world (hunting rifles etc would obviously still be around, assuming the owner has a license). This is not a legitimate argument not to do it.
That is a) much harder and b) much less easy to do impulsively and c) much easier for a vigilant eye to catch during preparation. Nice try though. Guns need to go.
It’s almost as if everyone owning guns does not in fact reduce the risk of gun violence, but indeed increases it. And it’s almost as if a tool exclusively made for efficient killing is a lot more efficient at killing than other tools that can technically be used for the same end.
I mean if you shoot someone fourteen times it sure as hell helps their chances if they’re wearing heavy armor. Not that I think this guy was shot even once.
Many of their older fans dislike the action leanings of their newer FF titles but I think that’s where they’ll grow their audience going forward. And then releasing things like DQ11 or smaller JRPGs for the people who want the purist experience.
I’d like to think that maybe they’re trying to get a more focused games catalogue and maybe without a language barrier between their various teams. Square Enix of 2022 feels like a very different company compared to Square Enix of the early 2010s. I’d say they’re honing in on their own core games more rather than the…
There’s a seemingly fairly large divide in the company’s board. On the one end you’ve got Yoshida who’s basically Gaming Jesus and whose focus is firmly on the players and the well being of his dev teams at all times. On the other end you’ve got the “let’s scam some people out of money with crypto” guys.
I wonder if a good compromise would be to show the information to everyone only post-game? So you could see the performance of everyone (not just yourself) at the end but not be able to harass other people mid-match. Assuming you’re one of those assholes who harass people.
I think VRR is in the HDMI 2.1 spec, so you might even need to support it to be able to claim 2.1 compatibility.
Is it really an accident that a sequel to a good game by Cavia ended up being a good game when that concept was combined with the tight gameplay of a Platinum title? Not really, no.
Ah yes, the opposite of “waste not”. Why keep a perfectly good thing and just freshen it up when you can chuck it in a fucking landfill for no reason?
I found a couple of messages like that, that hinted at things in other fairly well-known games. It’s such a weirdly specific kind of silly humor.
I knew I needed this. I hate needing to hold a button for every dang minuscule little action. For me it’s an easy -1 off the score of any game that requires holding buttons all the time if that game also has you picking up stuff fairly often. I could honestly do without it for everything or almost everything in games.…
Sadly no. But against Radahn there are golden summon signs to summon other npc heroes, and those can be reused during the fight.
