“Without any problems” might be a bit generous. Needing a 128 GB memory card to even fit the game (do those even work in the Switch?), only half-decent wifi to connect to the server, fairly uncomfortable controls (unless playing on a proper controller in docked mode).

“Shit game because it’s not on Switch.”

Definitely. I doubt it will ever happen, but they should have to prove that the dispute is reasonable before they’re allowed to threaten someone with baseless claims. In this particular case it would’ve hopefully gotten thrown out instantly.

As long as any new console version keeps the same plate mount points it would work. I don’t know how much room there is to shrink it considering the thermal design.

Considering how easy the plates are to remove and replace, this was definitely planned from the design stage.

My reaction to FFXIV getting some incredibly well-earned recognition. I hope Yoshi-P and team take some time to just chill a bit and bask in this and the overall glowing reception of Endwalker.

This expansion is SO good and to go into any detail as to exactly why would be almost criminal. Let me just note that I’ve already had my mind blown several times, smiled ear to ear with total delight, and cried a bit as to the ramifications of the stuff that’s being revealed. And I’m not even done with it yet. Some

As suggested in the article they could’ve just made it “yuukakugai arc” or something if that’s a worry. I mean the characters are literally going to visit this district regardless of the title.

Dare we suspect American puritanism rather than a mistranslation?

Yeah. I think noon EST is still fine? But I’m an EU person playing on the US servers so I log in at around 4 am on weekends and before noon on weekdays x).

The only advice I can give is to get up early. On the US servers, the queues seem to be perfectly fine until about noon, after which they get worse and worse.

I assume this is a joke, but to the benefit of anyone reading this - much like most other SRW games this one is a standalone story (the sequels are usually numbered, so Alpha, Alpha 2, and Alpha 3 for example). The 30 is because it’s the series’ 30 year anniversary.

At least this one has the Mazinger story from the recent Mazinger Infinity movie, with Kabuto already being a world famous hero who’s kinda sorta retired from the Mazinger thing.

Weeeell, Zeta Gundam, Victory Gundam and Nu Gundam and such “real robots” are in the game too. But yes, it is a power fantasy.

In many cases they also use better types of sugar instead of America’s go-to: high fructose corn syrup.

Kohli as Solid Snake in the upcoming movie? That’s cool.

I’d say around level 20 or 30 is when the story starts throwing really cool shit at you. The way to think about 14 is that it’s an RPGMMO rather than an MMORPG. The single player RPG experience comes before the MMO aspects. Only a few things in the story require you to group with others, and there’s a very useful

The Housing Market (Extreme), the true endgame.

I work from home right now, so I plan to join the queue an hour or two before work actually ends.

It was always a pretty good game on PC. They failed to deliver on a lot of their lofty promises, many of the sidequests feel unfinished or rushed, and it overall feels like the game needed a couple more years to be truly finished. But despite that it’s a cool-ass game with a cool world that’s pretty fun to play. I’d
