It was always a pretty good game on PC. They failed to deliver on a lot of their lofty promises, many of the sidequests feel unfinished or rushed, and it overall feels like the game needed a couple more years to be truly finished. But despite that it’s a cool-ass game with a cool world that’s pretty fun to play. I’d…
Was it Bayonetta 2? That was it for me, and then Metroid Dread as an unexpected bonus. I use it very infrequently since the handheld aspect is a total non-factor for me.
Not at all. I don’t think an immature and stupid joke should be enough to fire someone. I think that should first get you a warning.
It should get you a stern talking-to by HR or your boss and a warning never to do something like that again. Employee rights are a thing even if the US hasn’t really realized it yet.
Yeah. They think they can stand in it for a second, it’s probably fine. It’s not.
Oh, and Contraverse Hold too, of course!
Man this is not a day too early in PvP. It was stupid how the super murder cooldowns on Titan and Hunter were the same as the far less powerful stuff on Warlock.
I think a reasonable level for me is to be able to complete a 10 week battle pass in 8-9 weeks if you do all the daily stuff and most/all of the weeklies, and in 10 weeks if you only ever do the weekly things on say one day per week. I don’t know how the math works out in this one though.
I read that the battle passes are somehow more permanent than in other games? Like if you don’t finish the first one before the second one comes out, you’re not FOMO-fucked but can instead choose to keep working on the previous one. That’s nice! As long as it’s balanced time-wise so that their average player can play…
I certainly don’t think things improved under Activision. But it really depends on what kind of leadership would be in place after such a split. I think the employees’ recent actions would make it hard for someone to just ignore their wishes if the company shrank.
Nope. No such assumption was made. :)
Best thing I can’t imagine happening is Blizzard breaking off and vowing to fix everything. As long as they’re tied to Activision and their shareholders they’ll just keep spiraling the drain. A standalone developer can hone in on what they do best while trying to rectify company culture, as it stands they’ll always…
Apex went through some shit but their battle pass design ended up being quite solid after a few seasons. It’s also one of those where if you complete the pass you get enough premium currency to buy the next one. You love to see it.
This sounds kind of like the Apex Legends system, but done badly. Apex switched over to a model of easier to complete daily challenges that you can usually knock out in a match or two, and a series of meatier weekly challenges.
I haven’t gotten to Spider-Man or Returnal or Demon’s Souls yet...
I don’t know how “race theory” was taught before in schools over there, but it definitely should be relegated to history lessons and such as a look at a way of thinking that used to exist and which is no longer considered scientific or acceptable.
I’m not seeing a “walk away from explosion” shot. The surroundings look like the inside of a hangar building, or possibly inside one of their carrier ships. In that context it’s far more likely to be a “launching while under attack” scenario. That’s very common, especially in the UC stuff.
The sound could default to your PC Speaker unless you go to the options to fiddle with it. Being locked to 640x480 is a must, and it should fuck up all window sizes and such outside of the game too.
It could just fail to start because it doesn’t find Glide or 3dfx.dll. That’s always an option. Being an nvidia pleb was not easy back in the day. Many a game went unplayed because of it.
