I mean I like the series and the explanation is fine, but that doesn’t stop Barbatos from being one of the least cool mobile suits across all series. The rollercoaster ride of going from Sazabi to Barbatos was a soaring high into an incredibly precipitous hype fall.

Yesss. Hyped for this. It’s always a lot of fun trying to do the bonus objectives in these games, since it ends up being quite challenging at times. I also love how the reward you get for playing more is unlocking additional attacks with super cool animations for all your mechs.

The Rayearth mechs have incredible animations in the games too. And what’s not to love about them attacking a Zonder from GaoGaiGar x).

FF14 is also currently running a campaign to get lapsed players back by offering 14 days of free playtime if you’ve been away for at least a month or so. I figured I might as well start working through 5.1-5.5 so I’m good and ready when Endwalker hits.

So refreshing to hear that Yoshi-P has the same view as me. Square in particular was pretty notorious for releasing just a couple of images every now and then.
