Oh? I didn't realize it was down for a bit there! I love Vanguard. If only more "mainstream" news sources delved into the things Vanguard does...

This is incredibly sad, and I'm glad the problem is getting the attention that it truly deserves. For those of you who have Current TV, the doc series Vanguard did an episode a couple of years ago about this exact problem. It's available in its entirety on the site.

I was thinking the same.

HAHAHA This is lovely!

Thanks! I'll look into that! You rock! :-)

I can't wait until I live in a place where I can garden!!! There simply is no room for it/my current yard is definitely not prepped for the kind of thing... Plus, Kenya — my cat — would eat EVERYTHING!!!!

WOOO!!!!! Get it, boo!!!!

I love all my random game apps, but I have to say, my sis loves her scanner... I may have to get that... Like, now.

So this weekend was a good one! On of my super duper close buddies proposed to his girlfriend yesterday!!! It was so cute — we all (like 7 of us close buddies) went to dinner and used my b-day (which was 1 May) as a cover! He got a cute fairy tale storybook made of their relationship and dressed up like a knight,

Agreed. They aren't that appealing to me.

So I saw this last night and it's so damn cute. Also, jumping on the bandwagon: SKILLZ, MAN! These kids have 'em!

hahahahaha yes!

this is literally nauseating.

She's simply wonderful! Such a sense of confidence. I wanna meet her! I love that she can see the humor in her condition and encourages others to see the humor as well in a way that isn't mocking or demeaning. Good on you, Miss Thom!

This is how I feel too. People need to not be so afraid of their sexuality, and it seems this pastor genuinely wishes for couples to enjoy themselves and each other (in a non-pervy way on the pastor's part). I say good on him!

Screw that guy for being a major douchetool. Also, Julia is super awesome! I love her hair (except the Seinfeld hair days — it was so frizzy... but then again it was the 90s...) and being a curly-haired lady myself, I say Go Team Ringlet!

This. Thank you. I usually think the same thing when it comes to art/shows/whatever that involve mass amounts of food.

Ha, my thoughts exactly... Women at home should be respected for the work they do, but I would imagine your "job" is a lot less pressing when you don't have to worry about where your next meal is coming from, and how you'll survive with only one breadwinner in the house.

I thought that same about the dress on the far left too... Her skin looks like silicone or something. BAHHHH PHOTOSHOP!!!

1) The colors for those dresses (not gowns) are quite lovely! There were a couple I would actually consider getting!
