Luckily for all of us, it wasn’t real.

I hope Ben and Jen make it work. They’ve always been one of my fave Hollywood couples. Their kids are adorable and as a family they seem so normal. They wear ACTUAL CHILDREN’S CLOTHES and not tiny leather and fur adult clothing, they take their kids to the park and farmer’s market and do regular family stuff; they are

It’s a weird angle and her skirt is casting a shadow on her legs making them look half their actual size

As a vet, I have a LOT of questions about Basic Training, too, and you raise others I hadn’t even considered. I do fully support this, but I hope there is a shit ton of planning that goes into it so those members are safe and respected.

One one level, I think this is great. On another, I can’t help but think about my time in BMT, where we showered together in an 8 person shower and no one closed bathroom stalls because it took too much time out of the allotted bathroom break (10 minutes and 4 stalls for 60 women and GO!). I have deep concerns about

oh I looooooove me some Sebastian Stan. Thank you for that unexpected gif(t).

Ok, but presumably we aren’t talking about a mass-market dress, though. It would be one made to fit her, to her specifications, not an off the rack or runway one (since, the inherent issue is that those wouldn’t fit). I’m not trying to be the great defender of fashion designers because I sure as hell wouldn’t spend

Eh, I wouldn’t base the work that goes into designer dresses on PR. Those dresses look like shit up close and underneath, and generally fall apart later. They are held together sometimes with literal tape and prayer.

It’s bitterly amusing that they are using the fact that they make clothes for only one body type as their defense.

Oh for sure. We both ended up in the military because of financial reasons tied to college and we definitely want to avoid him having to make a hard choice like that. I'm more on the transfer in bandwagon, but his dad fully supports him leaving right out of high school. We have 5 years. He will definitely be applying

We know, we have already told him ROTC is in his future.

I do! A dresser of all things, haha.

The system does get gamed somewhat, and unfortunately a rather high percentage of that top-10% of lesser high schools drop or fail out (or they did in the late 90s when my husband was there). It’s an imperfect system, but on the whole I think it’s a good one.

My husband graduated from UT Austin. His mother from UT Dallas. All our oldest son has ever, ever wanted was to go to UT. The Eyes of Texas was the lullaby his father sang him for heaven’s sake. We aren’t in Texas though (and won’t ever live there), and he’s white and middle class, so we are well aware that the road

Not only did they not do that, but they contacted Blum on her behalf, knowing he was looking for the perfect test case to send to the SCOTUS against UT.

Nic Cage is bonkers and makes some truly terrible movies, but I will always have a soft spot for him. He’s also made some truly great movies. Even more importantly, he’s made the BEST bad movies that I will watch every time they are on. Who doesn’t love The Rock or Con-Air? Admit it, you love those terrible movies.

Me too. I don’t even care really, but I find the “she’s so fake/it’s all PR/maneater” comments to be so nauseating that I want them to run away and elope like next week. Live your best life, Taylor.

I would wear that outfit in a heartbeat. It’s so flattering and pretty! I bet her “constructive critic” is a sloppy dresser.

He looks almost *exactly* like a friend of mine, who is also 35. They look so much alike that I feel weird anytime I think he (Hiddleston) is hot, since I’m also friends with my friend’s wife.
