I paid my way through college in the late 90s working 2 part time jobs at min wage. That is not possible now. Even community college is hundreds of dollars per credit hour. I’m GenX preparing to send my GenZ kids to college. There really is no comparison. The cost is astronomical.

“Generation Y” is what they called the post-X kids until they were recoined Millennials. Literally the same generation. Gen X ends about 80-82ish depending on who you ask. Gen Z (sometimes called zoomers) starts about 2001. Everyone in between are Millennials.
