This is exactly the info I wanted from the other article when you visited the MS Surface workshop. I'll happily plunk down cash for the x86 version once I find out what the battery life and software performance looks like. Did MS ever give you guys internal hardware specs?

Will 4k facilitate full 1080p 3D?

Go Coney Island Whitefish!

BTW Sam, I'm assuming the Win 8 Pro Surface ones will have a nicer screen and cost around $1k? Any idea on release schedule on those models or will these Win RT ones be the only ones available in the foreseeable future?

You just sold me on Surface with the article. I just spent 2 weeks lugging around a giant Lenovo and hated every second of working on it, especially on the econo seats on the 4 different flights I had to take. And guess what? I didn't pull out my iPad except to read the news.

+1

Classic!

As several people pointed out already, there have been studies showing that toner dust is at least an irritant to eyes and respiratory systems. I think the last major story I read was from 2 years ago.

Ooops, and within another month tumors and severe liver and kidney damage!

No Jellybean? No thanks.

FUCK YES!

Nah, I never saw them live and "understand" them just fine. They're a great band. I think certain people, regardless of their musical preferences will respond well to CJ and others will despise them.

First of all, I can't believe you're featuring this album. It's truly one of my favorites ever and it was such a relief that Jade Tree released the compilation years ago (maybe a decade ago? yikes!).

Didn't the later gen Zunes used to come with great earbuds?

I was looking at it the other day asking myself,"401k or DMF? Whatever shall I do?"

Dear Pentax, when will you give your loyal followers the full frame camera we've been clamoring for since the *ist days?

Hope you guys do another 4G shootout. TMo's hsdpa+ isn't cutting it for me and watching my friends fly through downloads on Verizon LTE is making me jealous...until I realize they're paying another $50+ for those speeds and datacapped at that.

I said nothing about locking down the software, it's about coordinating release schedules. The mfgs and carriers can re-skin, de-skin, add stupid non-removeable carrier specific apps, to the hilt, that's not the issue here. The point I'm making is that they need to release the absolute latest version of the OS all

Heh, I definitely had cereal prizes that had the moving images.

Here it is very plainly: Android will always look like it's playing catch up because their latest software is always a generation behind the latest hardware. Google needs to lock it down so that when they release a new version of the OS it's in conjunction with all of their manufacturing partners' newest handsets.
