Starting with the 100 they've switched to CMOS. Noticeable difference in IQ esp in higher ISOs. Battery life still sucks. Lens is different design too. Better on the barrel distortion, but the QC is bad and i've read reports where the quality was inconsistent from camera to camera.
RX100 is slightly larger but it is definitely not negligible.
Max exposure time is 15seconds on s100. Are you sure it's only 1 second on the 110?
