I think this list is misleading. It's heavily weighed with 1950's-1930's stereotypical gender roles played in early films. Looking back at the list of winners from the last 15 years, the majority are won by women who play strong female roles; (ie. Erin Brockovich in 2000, Halle Berry in Monster's Ball in 2001,…
