Best Manics track: "Yes" off the Holy Bible. But that could change for me tomorrow - they seem to have quite a few best tracks.

Gaffigan is one of the best comics working today. I've seen him live three times, and each time he killed it. On top of that, he sticks around after each show and talks to people and autographs random stuff and is pretty nice and unassuming the entire time.

I'd actually go with the Serpent's Egg first. Then I'd go to Aion, then Spleen & Ideal. I think their work functions on a bell curve, really, with the middle years being their strongest.

Am I the only one who thinks Red-Eye is part of the alien fifth column? Probably.

Love this piece, but I beg to differ on the "where to start." I began with "Music for Airports," and that did the trick for me. If you don't have the patience for Airports, it's unlikely that you'll appreciate any of his work.
