The burning of the Erdtree is repeatedly referred to as a “cardinal sin” in the base game, and that’s what the shield is very clearly representing. This is a nothingburger.

A little surprised they aren’t fishing for three seasons by expanding the time jump and throwing flashbacks in there. Having an entire season about Ellie and Joel falling apart and finally about to reconnect, only for him to get brutally killed in the finale, is the sort of thing a show can do that a video game can’t.

My solution upon getting spoiled about this early was to play as Wyll. Makes for a really interesting relationship dynamic and allows the Avernus conclusion to have a sweeter bittersweet ending.

You’ve likely heard it before, but anyone who loves classic Paper Mario will get a serious kick out of Bug Fables. I got Paper Luigi tatted on my arm and think Bug Fables, while lacking the nostalgia factor, is the superior game.

Not seeing Ikenfell in this bundle but highly recommend it for that vibe. Fun battle system and great music from Aivi and Surasshu of Steven Universe fame.
