They made EXP share mandatory because they wanted to make the game easier. Their market isn’t people who play RPGs, their market is 8 year olds and people who play GO.
Stripping complex mechanics and not letting you accidently make it harder (by turning off EXP Share) was the whole point.

Back when MAD magazine was a thing there used to be a saying that “MAD Magazine was at it’s best whenever it was that you were 11 years old. They started getting lame whenever you were 15". Year didn’t matter.

I really prefer Hop over Hau. That guy just wouldn’t shut up.

The amount of effort that goes into the Postgame Battle-XX stuff waxes and wanes. The high water mark might have been the battle frontier back in Gen III Hoenn. There were like 7 different battle formats you could participate in & get medals and so on. They cut that back in the re-make versions to like one format with

Agreed.  He would never have done it, and if he had he would have taken out a full page Ad in the paper *saying* he had done it and why.

Josh was always a jackass, but when I re-watched the show during the Trump era I realized he was actually a prophesy. He kinda cared about ideas, but he was way more interested in polls and legislative knife-fights. Eventually he started power-tripping on elected officials as the President’s Hatchet man.
He was what we

The First Reboot movie basically re-shot a sequence from TAS, where some Vulcan kids were bullying young Spock.

Eh, McCoy was always kind of dramatic and really into his “Country Doctor” schtick.
I was totally willing to believe once he was an Admiral and didn’t have the rest of the Enterprise Crew around to take the vinegar out of him McCoy would go full on Foghorn-Leghorn and dare anyone to call him on it.

A friend tells a story about a co-worker that hid a Keg under the raised floor of a server room at a major bank. It was cool & out of the way inside a room you needed a security badge to enter.

Too bad someone started to wonder why he was in there 2-3 times a day when none of his other coworkers were in there more than

I don’t know that I want political organizations funding an election, or part of it. People who put money in tend to have expectations about what money buys.
I’d rather our government fund the elections that are integral to it’s own operation.

My wife eventually just started hanging up on her Mother. She is in a much better place since she started.

Sure, her mother lives in a squalid hole but you know what?: That would have happened if my Wife helped her or not.

I agree. The thing that gets lost in these discussions is that there are 61 Million Switches out there, they are selling like hotcakes, and if they drop a new console it will kill sales on the old one and not everyone will replace their 2 year old switch with a new console. You drop a new console when the old one

Yeah, we are on hardware revision 2 right now.
People spent months speculating on what kinds of amazing new stuff was going to come in that revision & we got more battery battery lift and that was about it.

Nintendo has to up the power of the Switch if they expect game developers to keep releasing / porting games on the console.

Eh, I’m betting that they won’t choose to obsolete the 61 million units they have out in the world now while they can’t keep the current model in stock.

How much of this is a that her Dad cheated on her Mom and how much of this is the dreadful revelation that her Dad is having Sex? Like she knows her Parents had sex at least once but maybe she convinced herself that, as parents, they

Correct: Marriage is a legal contract, and a good one if you actually care about your partner and want a say during emergencies.
My mother used to be a Nurse in the bad old days before Same-Sex Marriage. She had *lots* of stories about somebody getting badly hurt in a car accident, the parent who kicked them out when

Make sure you write it down for the next generation. You saved it for now

I was absolutely one of those breakfast sandwich customers at McDonalds for years because it was the only food I had time for. Now that I can eat while sitting in front of my Laptop in my PJs, it isn’t a thing.

I used to work with a man who didn’t pursue his dream job because someone told him circa 1990 or so that as a White Man he was going to be passed over because of all the diversity quotas in the field. So he went into IT. (His dream job is filled with white guys his age as of 2020)

So in his mind, governmental acts
