There is no reason for you to limit yourself to 20 via finger count thing. You just have to get as sophisticated in your count as in your love life

“In her own voice” might be the biggest problem. When you have the author laying out a story it very much comes across as being perfect information. When you have a character saying it the biases mostly tell you about the character.
I would argue that the movies you are talking about were made in the ‘70s and faded out in ‘80s with a several-year-long transition.
You could almost say Marty McFly’s family at the beginning of Back to the Future was a typical family as portrayed in most 70s films with his family at the end of the film being a…
The operative work here is “Trust”.
My parents always gave use the “you can tell us anything” thing but my siblings and I never believed it for a moment. We loved our parents and trusted them to take care of us. We did not trust them to view a mistake as a mistake and let us learn from it or move on. We did not trust…
While the guys on the cover art were not my preferred gender for a crush, I did *LOVE* that book. It may be my 2nd favorite of the series.
A wind in the door was good. I was actually a lot more taken by A Swiftly Tilting Planet (Quantum Leap with Charles Wallace) and Many Waters (the Twins vs Biblical Antediluvian Mythology)
When the original creators sold the rights to TMNT, they retained the rights to publish a comic book that maintains it’s own continuity. That is what IDW has been publishing for the last few years.
This game is based on the IDW comic and is being put out by IDW’s boardgame division, which is like 18 months old. I’m…
I agree for different reasons. I think the “super self-involved people are shamed by others” plotlines were great. I was also pretty down with the whole hollywood thing that showed that no matter how thoughtless you might be of other’s feelings the movie business made you look like an amateur.
Then we were supposed to…
It isn’t that some of us have histories that were less than ideal, it is that *most* of us do. Alcoholism/Drug Abuse, Suicide, Rape, abuse.. it is pretty hard to be an adult without a brush up against one or many of these.
I don’t think anyone you want to date should run from these, but you can’t lead with your worst…
The key phrase is “if you are happy with your wife”.
If you feel you settled, then things aren’t ok and you aren’t really happy.
On the other hand, spending all your time wondering if you could do better is a really great way to NEVER be happy with what you have.
Smart move on her part.
I have seen this thinking in my friends and associates. It is a trap.
If you are still happy with your wife now, then don’t obsess over imaginary wife. If you have problems with your real wife (even if they are that you need more from her), then those are things she should be hearing about.
30 year old you SHOULD have a…
This is a thing. One of the under appreciated things about owning is that if you manage not to spend all your equity with constant re-financing, you will have the same mortgage 20 years in as you did on the first month.
My mother-in law recently paid off a 1980s era mortgage that cost her $500/month for her 3 bedroom…
I’m a Man, and I never had the talk either. Which in retrospect was insanely reckless from my “high school sweetheart” parents.
I read everything I could find in pre-internet jr. high to figure out what was going on.
She says that she cheated because she has a short attention span or because she gets hurt and wants to hurt back.
Agreed. Being Poly is fine. If you want to be Poly be Poly. Nobody cares. Just please stop talking about my monogamous life like I’m doing it wrong.
Yeah, I tend to lump all the multi-billion dollar tech firms together in terms of how evil they are. If you feel that one of them cares about you more than another one then buy accordingly.
Is it weird I missed the old stupid crazy Refs? They actually provided a reason to broaden builds and level up secondary characters. You couldn’t just bash through every mission with the same core group.
Is it presenting or preventing some users from accessing the PlayStation Store?
