Hopefully there's a bar there, so you can order a 7 and 7.

If it weren't for work I'd never write anything on paper but as it is, I do, constantly.

Oh come on, don't tell me you don't care about Mike.

To your first point - I wonder if they thought that all the way through. Sure, losing some WP7 sales won't matter much to MS' bottom line but the hardware vendors, especially Nokia will be hit a lot harder. That might come back to bite them when it comes time to start licensing WP8.

FTA: "At this point, the immersion factor, whether it be a PS3 game or a film, supersedes pixel density nitpicking. There is no replacement for fucking gigantic."

I'd be happy if they just released the old maps app as-is, as an optional download on the app store.

I agree, I was just marveling at the fact that this guy is asking that much. I owned 3 900s over the years and a 9k just like that picture, loved those cars. My wallet hated them though.

I'm guessing they will continue to offer regular bluetooth connectivity alongside the siri integration.

Amen to that. I have done my time parking lot wrenching but, come on, you're supposed to move up in life as you go. Once you have access to an enclosed garage there's no going back.

Here's a simple solution: Stop wishing every damn person ever a happy birthday. If you wouldn't have called or texted them anyway, then don't bother. If you would, then do. Don't do it on facebook. The fact that it reminds you that someone's birthday is today is still convenient, and the sentiment is still genuine.

I should have mentioned, yes, it's a reassuring sound. You can hit the power button on the remote without looking and know if you actually turned it off.

My 55" LCD has a relay that clicks when you turn it on and off. It's probably just a symptom of it being about the cheapest TV of that size available, but it doesn't turn on and off silently.

Or, that clear epoxy stuff they use to seal bar tops. That stuff is indestructible.

Related wikipedia blurb that may help the OP:

If I recall, you could almost get a brand new 9000 Aero for about what this guy is asking, though.

Wait, since when did the fashion shift from neckbeards to goatees?

Also, think about it this way. When you buy the memory upgrade, you're not paying for 8GB of memory. What you're paying for is the shelf space to store those 16GB models.

Throwing a fit won't stop them. This is all about hitting margins, reaching sales volume goals, and making money. If at some point they stop being the money printing machine they currently are, then they'll change their strategy. Before that?

It's not the only choice. You have a choice to buy a different laptop, from Apple even (the other Macbook Pros that they also updated recently still have modular RAM and drives), that comes with modular parts.
