Dude, the TV series and older movies were very heavy sci-fi and confronted actual moral, ethical, societal issues. Maybe you want to catch up on the goings on for the last 60 years.

No dawg. Your face is inherently ridiculous.
I’ve lost track of what you’re trying to say. But America is not mostly white anymore. There’s no reason why the MCU’s main characters can’t reflect contemporary demographics better. Changing the race of many of the characters has little or no impact on the story. Iron Fist still works if Danny Rand is half-white,…
“Dive into diamonds!”
Honestly, I loved him an Yelchin in Fright Night. I wish they’d do an honest sequel to it.
Kind of like red matter, galaxy destroying supernovas, transwarp beaming, cold fusion bombs, hiding your starship in the ocean, and death healing blood...at this point I’m just going because of peer pressure and hoping the cast is as good at polishing this turd as the ST cast has been.
Zoe Saldana is a superior actress.
I thought Super 8 was pretty good but his ST movies were only saved by the cast and his MI movie was totally forgettable.
This doesn’t make sense. Maybe using BvS instead of Civil War would work...
Take this as you will but the reviews mirror those received by TPM 15 1/2 years ago...
Why don’t you just share. This place is called Morning Spoilers for a reason.
The more Jennifer Lawrence flaps her gums the less I like her. She’s kinda a whiney entitled brat.
We could but that’d be a lie because sleighs are not sleds.
Mystery and suspense are highly overrated. when every movie has them then every movie starts looking the same.
Patton Oswalt is pretty funny and it’s cool to see him geek out about things but, a lot of his ideas are idiotic.
TFA panders to fan nostalgia for the OT. Like the PT, none of the OT films were “good” ones.
For me the constant refrains of “the prequels suck” and “Abrams gets what Lucas got wrong, right”, have been fundamental turn offs. If you only like 50% of a thing then I submit to you, you don’t like that thing.
The hipsters have wielded a might force of revisionism on the history of cinema. I personally rate TPM at 3/5 and both AotC and RotS at 2/5.
No, this is just evidence that American critics and audiences don’t like hard Science Fiction. You only have to look at a South African movie like Chappie to see that it is so.
The beginning of STiD was so asinine I almost walked out of the theatre. That movie is enjoyable in spite of Abrams. It’s watchability has everything to do with its phenomenal cast’s ability to polish a turd into a spit-shined shoe.
