So are the new Disney movies...

IIRC, didn’t Elle fall victim to the snakes that she used to assassinate Bud?

Got it in one. :P

Christoph Waltz is overused. She should have a more traditional master.

Honestly Abrams and Kasdan’s narrative choices, such as the nth nazi redux, leave much to be desired. If Disney wanted to reboot SW (and undo Lucas’s work) then they should have just went for it. I’m expecting ST levels of half assery and logic phailing.

We agree to disagree.

I’m wait and see.

Sorry. No. Snyder effed it up. #MoS_notSuperman

Exactly, not major. Although these days, replacing Ruffalo as Hulk or Cheadle as War Machine would be deal breakers for me. Especially since I really want to see the latter person take up the Iron Man mantle.

Well, given Tarantino’s background, if that can be made distinct from the samurai genre (which it seems like it can) then hopefully.

Well, she’s a main focus and a strong character in ANH and RotJ. Whereas she’s totally reduced to a frowning romance object in TESB. Not Kirchner or Kasdan’s finest day.

Recasting is titanic Hollywood conceit. I’m tired of it. Once Marvel starts recasting major roles in the MCU, I’ll be done with it. Much like I’m done with Bond once Craig finishes with the role.

I don’t know. I think you and I disagree on how well developed any of the MCU characters are. I don’t feel that Feige an co. have particularly earned the Civil War story yet. Maybe if they were like three or four seasons into a television series.

“like Cummerbund Bandersnatch Benedict Cumberbatch”

Wait...was that a secret? That Barry is the Flash? Because I thought Cisco was telling everyone...

My question is, if Kill Bill 1 is nominally a samurai movie, and Kill Bill 2 is nominally a kung fu movie, what genre will Kill Bill 3 be?

midseason winter finale

<cough, cough> Plastic surgery...

Nope. I think that story was pretty well summed up. Vernita Green’s daughter on the other hand...she might be feeling raw about what happened to her mom.

I mean, I thought it was too soon for things like Civil War and Infinity War too...that hasn’t stopped Feige...
