Midgets are known to be dodgy.

It needs to be trusted by regulators and legislators. Regulators want it to look like a pillow, and the legislators need it to look like a Jetsons car in order for it to resonate with their idea of how the world works. I think in those areas it is well researched. Just my 2 cents.
