I’ve always wondered about that. When you put a dog to “sleep”, it is not a cruel or terrible thing. If you’ve been able to stay in the room when it happens, it’s actually a very easy & peaceful way for them to go. They literally go to sleep...peacefully, easily & then their breathing just...stops.

In the olden days, we had these things called “Compact Discs”. My absolute fave for a long, winding country drive & a good, cathartic cry was the soundtrack to a movie I didn’t like very much.

I'm a chubby girl & got picked up by a cutie on the Tube (subway) my 2nd day in London. And it was a "low self esteem, I'm invisible, men don't even see me, desperately single" phase of my life. That little early spring encounter put quite a spring in my step for the rest of my vacation!!
