I guess no one here has ever heard the theme song to a little show called Magnum PI. The guitar part on this one gets me ready for action.

You have to get inside the animals.

The throwaway reference to Tree of Life in their list of Christmas movies also made me laugh out loud.

I don't know about you guys, but John Cho's responses cracked me up. He funny.

I'm hoping it's because he's going to come back as a zombie and lead the charge on the farm house, Flyboy-style.

I almost spit my coffee out reading this. Thank you.

What about the scene where those two guys throw the pot roast out in the water, and Jaws pulls the dock away? I love that shit. The guy rides the floating bits out into the water and then starts flailing when he realizes how fucked he is. It's almost enough to give me an anxiety attack every time!

Love that scene. All that dread building up…

I agree. Unfortunately, I first saw that scene late one night while babysitting the neighbor's kid. That was the last thing I needed…

When I was but a wee young'in, The Shining aired on TV and I, mistaking it for The Incredible Hulk, demanded to watch it. I picked it up moments before the scene where Danny rides his little big wheel up to the dead girls. That was scary enough for me. I didn't revisit The Shining until after I turned 30.

Fuck yes! The first Zelda scene is traumatic enough on its own. The later scene where she's crouching near the window croaking out "Raaaaaachel" is terrifying.

Audition!

Also, one of the bikers knocks a zombie's brains out with an American flag at the beginning. I don't really care for Land, but that bit made me laugh.

I couldn't make it all the way through Survival. The scene with the zombie girl riding around on the horse was the breaking point. I sometimes wonder if it improved later. Am I missing out?

Man, George Romero's fall from grace is a real source of dismay. It seems like he's focusing more on delivering novel "kills" to people who care about that sort of thing, rather than expanding on the world he created with Night. One-off brain-bashings are much less interesting than the horror of a shuffling mob coming

Yes! I love the "food eater!" scene.

I get the sense that I'm only one who prefers the first season. I don't think anything could top the bully episode or Tom Noonan's turn in the church.

That is my favorite episode of the second season. I'd never seen Stanhope before, but he fucking killed it in this one.

I almost did a spit take when I saw this. Who? Who? Who? That shit cracks me up.
