I haven’t seen either of these shows so i don’t have that context though I’m also sure that I’ve seen some shows that do it as well, BUT the use of it in some animes is referential to hentai. Something that is being referential does not get credit for being the source.

Probably is but I don’t feel that ‘Niche’ really gets across the fact that while these things have an area of overlap in terms of art style and hentei parodying anime they are infact two different things.

Why do you find articles that actually talk about sex and games so upsetting? You don’t have to read them and if their simple existance is enough to turn you against the site as a whole that’s pretty puritanical.
