I’m not.  Like it or not if these behemoths fail they pull the whole movie theater industry down with them.

Friend,  it seems like you do not care for this brand of silly movie.  Perhaps another genre will interest you

I mean, Hamlet is also dead, but I see theater crowds lining up to see his story every damn year after year...

I’d be more likely to pay the $30.00 if it actually came with some smoked sausages.

To be fair, in the comics the Soul Gem has a pocket dimension for all of the souls that get sucked into it called Soulworld.

Two reasons why this is happening:

CBS is an unknown brand outside the US, while Paramount Channel and Paramount+ are existing channel/SVOD in Latin America and Europe. They’re basically just merging it.

It will be baffling if it’s as bad as that, considering Reilly, Heidecker, and Armisen have each independently proven themselves to be some of the best comedic geniuses we have today. I have high hopes!

Someone pointed out that viewers would be pod people..

A couple of years ago, they pivoted to almost exclusively African American reality shows like Black Ink Crew.

Why can’t they just call it “Paramount On Demand”? The acronym - POD - would be much more memorable.

I got a free trial of cbs all access and watched everything (by everything that means the good fight, picard, and discovery) on there in less than that month. I fully plan on doing that once a year with an assortment of email addresses until the shows I like are no longer in production.

Infinity, plus one. Or Paramounter.

Funny enough, the entire reason they went with HBO Max in the first place was because the HBO name had more purchasing power with consumers than the Warner Brothers name did.

I’m Tracy Jordan and I’m proud as a peacork!

I guess there’s no point discussing the fact that, by definition, you can’t go anywhere once you’ve reached “paramount”. It’s like “The Bestest Most Important Crucial Vital Ever...But More".

Honestly, Peacock is a solid name.  Simple, memorable, and you know what it represents.

Expect to hear soon of the rumored change to HBO Max. It will be re-branded as AT&T++Max+. The pricing will remain the same, available programming will change without notice or reason and will not be available on any streaming devices.

They need to add the entire run of The Colbert Report, dammit!

The original managed a lot of horror precisely *because* the characters were deeply affected by what they saw and experienced and couldn't move on. I expected a lot to be lost in translation here, but even *that*? Yeesh.
