The Landmark by me has fancy beer, a full bar and stadium style sofa seats(I don't think they recline.) I really should go more often as it within walking distance of my house.

Thanks! I will check them out.

Hospitality and theatre. Random I know. Maybe weeding through the bad bands you'll find a diamond. Hopefully.

Ah. Sounds like my kinda of place. Oh idiots on the phone. I always had to handle the idiots. You wouldn't be hiring now? ;-)

Hehe. I'm unemployed right now so you probably don't want to switch. My house has window units which allow me to actually control how hot or cold I want the room I'm in. Probably the only perk of not working right now. I really hope I can find a job with flexible dress code. I hate wearing suits. Your dress code

I usually put the hose on when i get to work. Take it off when I leave. My last job blasted the AC to freezer levels. I was cold all the time.

I don't always like wearing pants to work. Again with the issue of finding professional pants that fit well. I stick to dresses and skirts. And I found a brand of nude hose that fit my skin tone well. I just don't like the way black hose looks in spring and summer. Fall and winter its fine, but I think it looks heavy

Identical twin here. My mother figured out early on that it was cheaper to buy us individual outfits than matching shit. While we did coordinate for holidays as kids we grew out of that stage pretty quickly. It's cute for younger kids, but adult twins? Not so much. As adults my sister and I have completely different

Also I grew up wearing hose. Even as a kid. I like the coverage. I mean I have awesome legs and all, but in a professional setting like work? I'd rather have that layer covering my legs. Now when I'm out and about in a casual setting? Not so much. It just depends on the context.

I'm in DC. I'm just used to working in Super AC buildings. Where I would freeze. I'd rather have my legs covered with hose than not.

I like a mix of cardigans and blazers. I do have an issue finding blazers that fit though, weird proportions. So I stick with cardigans because they fit better.

Oh Hawk and Dove. The only place I've lost a cellphone.

Depends on the workplace. and how conservative the office is. If you work in a law office or on the Hill then yeah, hose all day. But I have noticed a shift from the suits and more conservative dressing. DC has really stepped up the style game. Robin Givhan of the Washington Post wrote a fascinating article on the art

Nude Hose looks more polished than bare legs. Especially when I worked a job that was cold all the time. I didn't want to go barelegged so I wore hose. I wear tights in the winter, but black tights in spring and summer look weird. Like too heavy for the weather. I've never got the horror over nude hose. If you wear

Agree with plenty of booze and food! Also make sure everyone in the neighborhood is on board. Ice breaking games are always good if you are bringing people together who may not know each other.

congrats!

Can you talk to HR? She sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen! How has she not been fired?

OK Jezzies. I'm in a funk. I had a causal thing going with a guy friend that kinda fizzled out and while I should be over it I'm not. It's like I know nothing will come of this relationship but I still miss hanging with him. Anyway he started sending texts again recently and I started to get my hopes up and of course

I totally had a social dance date that wasn't. Guy invited me out swing dancing and while we danced together a few times, he spent most of the time dancing with other girls. I had a good time, but was a bit annoyed. Like it's ok to dance with other people, but I should feel like we are hanging out you know? We barely

Why thank you! BTW nice use of the Enchanted GIF!
