Well most indie games hang around 10-15 a month when not on sale so if you bought one a month you'd probably spend around the same. but you are getting something physical that cost money to produce and ship. i'd say it seems like a fair price.

Nintendo designed Karts to be faster in straight aways and Bikes better at courses with allot of turns. This kinda defeats the purpose of that distinction between the two. Sure, anybody can use Karts, but not everybody may want to. I think that it is in Nintendos nest interest to remedy this somehow.
